2003-01-24 | Fix powerpc struct kernel_stat types | Eric Andersen
2003-01-24 | A few more needed updates | Eric Andersen
2003-01-24 | Finish up fixing stat and setting various system types. | Eric Andersen
2003-01-24 | Ok, people are probably going to hate me for this... This commit changes the | Eric Andersen
type of 'struct stat' and 'struct stat64' so they use consistant types. This change is the result of a bug I found while trying to use GNU tar. The problem was caused by our using kernel types within struct stat and trying to directly compare these values with standard types. Trying an 'if (a < b)' when 'a' is an 'unsigned long' and 'b' is an 'int' leads to very different results then when comparing entities of the same type (i.e. time_t values).... Grumble. Nasty stuff, but I'm glad I got this out of the way now. As a result of this fix, uClibc 0.9.17 will not be binary compatible with earlier releases. I have always warned people this can and will happen. -Erik
2002-11-15 | This draws from an old patch by David Blythe for the now-dead | Eric Andersen
unified syscall interface. I reworked his old patch considerably and cleaned up his version of bits/syscalls.h with some sneaky macro magic. And I implemented a powerpc correct version of pread/pwrite -Erik
2002-10-09 | Support O_STREAMING | Eric Andersen
2002-09-05 | Change <bits/syscall.h> to <bits/sysnum.h>. | Miles Bader
2002-08-28 | Fix a silly bug notices by Ronald Wahl <rwa@peppercon.com> | Eric Andersen
2002-08-27 | Make sure that bits/syscalls.h always includes bits/syscall.h | Eric Andersen
-Erik | |||
2002-08-27 | Added __kernel_fsid_t to satisfy some apps that need it. | David McCullough
Definitions taken from 2.4 kernel sources for each of the platforms.
2002-08-26 | Make bits/kernel_types.h include guard names match the include | Eric Andersen
guard names used by the kernel's asm/posix_types.h to eliminate gratuitous conflicts and let our file win over the very-likely- to-be-broken kernel header file. -Erik
2002-08-25 | Finish off the bits/kernel_stat.h cleanup for proper | Eric Andersen
__USE_FILE_OFFSET64 handling. -Erik
2002-08-24 | Break dependancy of bits/types.h on the asm/posix_types.h kernel | Eric Andersen
header, which is not directly usable for many architectures. -Erik
2002-08-24 | Break dependancy of bits/types.h on the asm/posix_types.h kernel | Eric Andersen
header, which is not directly usable for many architectures. -Erik
2002-08-23 | Split out the definition of struct stat into the new arch | Eric Andersen
specific bits/kernel_stat.h file. -Erik
2002-08-22 | Rework struct stat/stat64 handling to eliminate kernel headers | Eric Andersen
-Erik | |||
2002-08-21 | Revert mode_t change. Sigh. As Manuel so eloquently put it: "this is the way | Eric Andersen
we hose our code... hose our code... hose our code... this is the way we hose our code... all thanks to glibc" -Erik
2002-08-19 | Eliminate wrapping of struct stat and use the kernel version | Eric Andersen
directly. Eliminate all the attendant baggage. Fix internal types to match kernel types more closely. -Erik
2002-08-18 | Directly use kernel types for uid_t, gid_t, and dev_t to avoid the | Eric Andersen
need to translate these entities... -Erik
2002-07-22 | Rework syscall handling. Rewrite syscall handlers for x86 and ARM. | Eric Andersen
Prepare to kill the UNIFIED_SYSCALL option and instead have it be a per arch thing that is either enabled or not for that arch. -Erik
2002-04-10 | John Traill <john.traill@motorola.com> noticed that on powerpc | Eric Andersen
a dev_t is _not_ a quad type, but a simple int. Doh! We fixed that months ago, but subsequently lost the fix, so this restores things.
2002-03-01 | Major rework of the include files to eliminate redundancy | Eric Andersen
and to better support each arch. This is a really big patch... -Erik
2001-11-14 | Scrub up some lingering problems preventing readdir64 from working | Eric Andersen
and creating several *64 problems, particualrly when client apps used -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D__USE_FILE_OFFSET64. All better now. -Erik
2001-11-14 | Make it obvious that dtype is disabled | Eric Andersen
2001-11-10 | Added winsize structure from before glibc-2.2.4 update | David Schleef
2001-10-15 | Disable posix threads support | David Schleef
2001-10-15 | Merged patch from pre-glibc-2.2.4 files | David Schleef

2001-07-13 | The previous termios.h strongly appeared to be from a different | David Schleef
architecture. | |||
2001-07-11 | Added __BEGIN_DECLS and __END_DECLS to the files that didn't have | David McCullough
it and that I could see needed it. Should be pretty low impact as these are only defined when using C++.
2001-07-03 | Get rid of warning messages and spurious diffs | David Schleef
2001-07-03 | It is now autogenerated | David Schleef
2001-06-27 | Yes... I forgot to update bits/dirent.h for the other archs. :-( | Manuel Novoa III

2001-05-26 | Make powerpc compile. Needs this header... | Eric Andersen
2001-05-25 | Changes to make types.h more compatible with the Linux kernel. | David Schleef
2001-05-25 | Random change to get a log message: Previous change is to make this | David Schleef
header more compatible with the kernel and not with glibc.
2001-05-25 | Added powerpc-specific mmap syscall, 'cause we're special. | David Schleef
2001-05-25 | Needed for libm | David Schleef
2001-05-11 | Bring powerpc back into line so it compiles again. | Eric Andersen
2001-05-07 | Change FILENAME_MAX to be only 255. Max filename on ext2 is 255, | Eric Andersen
so there is no reason to allocate 4k. Change working of execvep.c per patch from Matthias Kilian <kili@outback.escape.de> so that there is not a fixed 127 byte buffer. Too easy to overflow... -Erik
2001-05-04 | This patch allows powerpc to compile again. It also checks if we | Eric Andersen
are compiling for an arch for which uClibc has an ld.so or not, and otherwise sets things up to use the system ld.so. -Erik
2001-04-19 | Remove all the __THROW macros | Eric Andersen
2001-03-16 | Add powerpc port done by David Schleef <ds@schleef.org> | Eric Andersen
