2009-07-29 | build: Include Makefile.commonarch from common Makefile.in | Carmelo Amoroso
Avoid including akefile.commonarch in each Makefile.arch. Include it instead from Makefile.in just after the arch specific Makefile.arch Signed-off-by: Carmelo Amoroso <carmelo.amoroso@st.com>
2009-07-26 | add missing UTIME_* defines for *at funcs | Mike Frysinger
I always forget that many arches have their own bits/stat.h ... Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2009-07-26 | enable nanosecond stat support for everyone | Mike Frysinger
Fill out the stat structure so that the nanosecond resolution support is always available. There is a small code size increase for a few ports (three additional assignments in xstatconv), but otherwise everything should remain the same. While we're here, punt __old_kernel_stat from the few headers that still define it as it is unused in uClibc and causes compile errors after these nanosecond changes. 2009-07-21 | byteswap: unify common definitions | Mike Frysinger
The majority of the byteswap functions are the same across all arches, so setup a common header to provide definitions if they don't exist. This allows arches to override only the ones they actually want to implement with inline assembly. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2009-07-03 | uClibc_arch_features: sync defines between ports | Mike Frysinger
Make sure each arch has the same complete list to make comparing between them easier. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

2008-01-17 | A patch from our Blackfin repository, originally from Jie Zhang. This fixes | Bernd Schmidt
a problem where the linker was trying to use the wrong symbol name for the init function. Define SYMBOL_PREFIX as _ in Rules.mak for h8300, bfin, i960, microblaze, and v850. Add -D__UCLIBC_UNDERSCORES__ in CFLAGS for targets which define SYMBOL_PREFIX as _. Remove defines and undefs from uClibc_arch_features.h of each target. Add $(SYMBOL_PREFIX) to __uClibc_init when passed by ld option -init.

Until a few months ago, libc/sysdeps/linux/m68k/clone.S defined __syscall_error itself. This local definition was removed in revision 13305: However, the clone code uses bcc.w to branch to __syscall_error. This made sense when there was a local definition, because the label was guaranteed to be in range. We can't guarantee that the external definition will be in range though; it depends on the order that the objects are linked. This patch adjusts clone.S to use jbcc instead.

This patch fixes a miscompilation of mmap() for Coldfire with gcc 4.x. The problem was that the syscall was being invoked before any part of the argument structure (buffer[]) had been initialised. The outcome of gcc PR 19341 is that volatile asms don't implicitly use or clobber memory, and that "memory" must be explicitly listed in the clobber list: http://gcc.gnu.org/PR19341 All syscalls can potentially use or clobber memory, so this patch adds a "memory" clobber to all the m68k syscall wrappers that I could find.
