2011-07-01Config.in.arch: Free UCLIBC_HAS_FPU setting from depending on UCLIBC_HAS_FLOATSKhem Raj
UCLIBC_HAS_FLOATS and UCLIBC_HAS_FPU are denoting two different aspects. UCLIBC_HAS_FLOATS covers the floating point operations which has nothing to do if you have FPU or not. Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>

This adds support for the TI C6X family of processors. Signed-off-by: Mark Salter <msalter@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Aurelien Jacquiot <a-jacquiot@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Bernd Schmidt <bernds@codesourcery.com>

2009-09-14Revert "default ?conf to native arch"Bernhard Reutner-Fischer
This reverts commit 6625518cd6894338937a74ca6b9187b7b8167b03. Signed-off-by: Bernhard Reutner-Fischer <rep.dot.nop@gmail.com>
2009-08-25default ?conf to native archBernhard Reutner-Fischer
Default is now the native arch, you can start a fresh .config via 'make ARCH=ia64 menuconfig'. Signed-off-by: Bernhard Reutner-Fischer <rep.dot.nop@gmail.com>
2009-07-26enable sbrk() for everyoneMike Frysinger
The sbrk() function can be used to merely query sizes and for that, no-mmu works the same as mmu. It can also sometimes increase data segments on no-mmu systems provided the trailing memory is free. So, there is no real reason to exclude this function for no-mmu ports. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

2006-12-12we just want the kernel headers, not the whole kernel source ... so people ↵Mike Frysinger

2004-01-16Fixup selection of endianness, since select does not work on choiceEric Andersen
items, we have to declare what endianness cpus are capable of supporting and work using dependancies.
2003-11-18Kill ARCH_HAS_NO_MMU and use HAS_FPU only. Wether floating point opsManuel Novoa III
are implemented in hardware or via kernel emulation doesn't matter to the libc code.
2003-11-05Do not provide a default for endianness. This needs to be selectedEric Andersen
on a per-arch basis, or left to the user to choose.
2003-11-04Rework the config system. Better utilize the Kconfig languageEric Andersen
which should simplify enabling arbitrary architectures. -Erik
2002-11-09fix typoAaron Lehmann
2002-11-08Large cleanup patch, based in large part on a patch fromEric Andersen

2002-11-07(UCLIBC_HAS_MMU): Depend on !ARCH_HAS_NO_MMU, rather than just using itMiles Bader
to set the default. (HAS_FPU): Depend on !ARCH_HAS_NO_FPU. (USE_GCC_SOFT_FLOAT_OPTION): New option.
2002-11-05Cleanup soft-float supportEric Andersen
2002-11-03Yet more config system updating.Eric Andersen
2002-11-02update all the Config files for the various arches so they work with the newEric Andersen
config system. Hopefully I got everything here correct... -Erik
2002-10-31Make it so arch specific stuff can be simpler. Initial attempt atEric Andersen
making CPU_CFLAGS, which should allow things to be optimized per-CPU and/or per-system. -Erik
