From eb5667f0ce82995eacb0c6a86d76d83c8f881619 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eric Andersen Date: Fri, 9 Feb 2001 04:51:35 +0000 Subject: It turns out that vfork was completely broken. That was why it wouldn't run on my little arm7tdmi/uClinux boards, since without vfork working, nothing works on uClinux. It took me forever to find this, since other problems were hiding this one. Big, huge, sigh of relief. -Erik --- libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/Makefile | 4 +-- libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/vfork.S | 73 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 files changed, 75 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) create mode 100644 libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/vfork.S (limited to 'libc') diff --git a/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/Makefile b/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/Makefile index 4b23adae7..c3a57ccd3 100644 --- a/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/Makefile +++ b/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/Makefile @@ -35,10 +35,10 @@ endif CRT0_OBJ=$(patsubst %.S,%.o, $(CRT0)) -SSRC=longjmp.S setjmp.S +SSRC=longjmp.S setjmp.S vfork.S SOBJS=$(patsubst %.S,%.o, $(SSRC)) -CSRC=fork.c vfork.c +CSRC=fork.c ptrace.c COBJS=$(patsubst %.c,%.o, $(CSRC)) OBJS=$(SOBJS) $(MOBJ) $(COBJS) diff --git a/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/vfork.S b/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/vfork.S new file mode 100644 index 000000000..845a222ac --- /dev/null +++ b/libc/sysdeps/linux/arm/vfork.S @@ -0,0 +1,73 @@ +/* vi: set sw=4 ts=4: */ +/* + * fork for uClibc + * + * Copyright (C) 2000 by Lineo, inc.
