From 68465f9e53905daca3ea10015e7bb405042a9319 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Joakim Tjernlund Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 13:07:01 +0000 Subject: Don't allow undefined global symbols to pass(all archs needs fixing). If you are using buildroot and soft floating point, you may have to rebuild the libm.so library, copy it to staging_dir/lib and rebuild your application. Cleanups as well. --- ldso/ldso/powerpc/elfinterp.c | 49 ++++++++++++++++++------------------------- 1 file changed, 20 insertions(+), 29 deletions(-) diff --git a/ldso/ldso/powerpc/elfinterp.c b/ldso/ldso/powerpc/elfinterp.c index 8f0d27172..34a75cdea 100644 --- a/ldso/ldso/powerpc/elfinterp.c +++ b/ldso/ldso/powerpc/elfinterp.c @@ -265,28 +265,20 @@ _dl_do_reloc (struct elf_resolve *tpnt,struct dyn_elf *scope, #endif reloc_addr = (Elf32_Addr *)(intptr_t) (tpnt->loadaddr + (unsigned long) rpnt->r_offset); reloc_type = ELF32_R_TYPE(rpnt->r_info); - if (reloc_type == R_PPC_RELATIVE) { - *reloc_addr = tpnt->loadaddr + rpnt->r_addend; - return 0; - } - if (reloc_type == R_PPC_NONE) - return 0; + symbol_addr = tpnt->loadaddr; /* For R_PPC_RELATIVE */ symtab_index = ELF32_R_SYM(rpnt->r_info); symname = strtab + symtab[symtab_index].st_name; - - symbol_addr = (unsigned long) _dl_find_hash(symname, scope->dyn->symbol_scope, - elf_machine_type_class(reloc_type)); - /* - * We want to allow undefined references to weak symbols - this might - * have been intentional.
